I’ve been trying to stay more consistent with my workouts and I’ve also been trying to incorporate more strength training and high-intensity functional training too! Whenever I go to a workout class, I totally feed off of the energy of the others in the class whether I know them or not. That’s why I love love love group or team training. Even if you’re working out with complete strangers you have a bond with them through the 45-60 minutes of sweat and work you are putting in. That’s what I love about @f45_training the energy in the space is amazing, everyone is working hard towards their goals, and the trainers are knowledgeable and motivating! I also love that no two workouts are the same at F45, which means I’m never going to get bored! There’s always a new challenge and often times I’m doing new to me dynamic moves that mimic everyday movement making sure that I’m sculpting lean, functional muscles! MMMMM SOUP. I MEAN NOODLE SOUP. I MEAN SOUP! haha I literally think of that episode of Friends every time I eat soup! Happy Monday Cute Gals! 💕🧡 I get so many DMS asking me where I buy my workout clothes! I typically always tag my clothes and if they aren’t tagged they are shopable on my @liketoknow.it page! It’s been 10 months since I decided I was going to give up any sort of diet and to officially break up with diet culture once and for all. Which I should feel proud about. But instead all I’ve been doing lately is having a horrible internal battle with wanting to diet again. It’s like a gravitational pull that I feel like I’m trying to out run. I want nothing more than to just live my life and be happy, eat intuitively, move my body out of love, and to not think these thoughts about wanting to diet. But after 25+ years of programing that the solution to happiness is being thin, I still have a hard time shaking it. It’s not that I’m not happy either it’s just I keep thinking maybe I could be happier… I feel trapped by this constant cycle. I have the tools to deal with these emotions and I know these are just thoughts and I know I love my body but I just wish there was an off button for these things and this way of thinking. This week was hard mentally for me. And I wanted to just share where I was at and to say that if you’re having these same thoughts you aren’t alone. This is normal even if it feels like it isn’t. What you see on my Instagram is just 1% of my life. I never want you to look at me smiling in every photo and think she has it all. She never has problems or she never struggles. I’m here to tell you I have struggles, problems, and days I cry all day long but for the most part I’m bubbly and happy. I couldn’t properly put into words what I was thinking yesterday for #worldmentalhealthday but I wanted to share no matter what. A lot of what we are experiencing in our heads never gets spoken out loud out of fear of being judged or the fear of us admitting we still struggle. But if you’re struggling and feel like you need help please find help. It’s nothing to be ashamed of or embarrassed by! Sending all of you girls feeling alone or feeling like you have no way out a giant virtual hug. ily 💕

How I organize my kitchen is up on the blog finally! #brittttybungalow 💕 @spatialsoulutions and I worked together to create a super functional and organized space. Everything has a place and I rarely lose anything anymore, which means I’m so much happier and not making a mess every two seconds just to find one thing in the kitchen. Haha I’ve always dreamed of being this organized and Dany made it happen! My favorite thing we did is create a makeshift pantry since I didn’t really have one! Having the deep buckets are amazing to keep things from getting lost in the back! My favorite part every week is that @aubrewinters literally makes up our dance on the spot! She is truly so talented and inspires me so much! I love watching people do what they love and are passionate about, it makes every week so fun! RECOVERY TIPS // let’s talk recovery! Do you girls spend time recovering, stretching, or foam rolling post workout? Do you take one day a week to do yoga? Do you do ice baths or book massages ever? If you said no, to all of these I highly suggest you keep reading! Taking time to recover post sweat sesh is crucial. PERIOD. Not only does spending time on recovery help avoid injury it also helps your muscles recover quicker, aka you’re sore less often! SCORE! Below are some of my favorite ways to recover! Make sure to save this post to reference later! And of course do your own research too, these are just some things that have helped me in my personal journey that I thought I’d share! CAPTION CONTINUED IN COMMENTS! 〰️ 1️⃣ @Theragun (available @walmart) this is the most amazing way to recover. Not only does it help loosen up muscles post sweat but you can use it pre-sweat to wake up your muscles too and energize your body. To me, it’s less painful than foam rolling and I get immediate relief. It’s also my favorite way to relieve stress in my neck, shoulders, and lats. 🙌🏼🙌🏼 2️⃣ Yoga: Incorporate yoga into your routine, weekly. You girls know I love my time on my mat, and if you don’t incorporate a weekly yoga session yet I can’t suggest it enough. 🧘🏼‍♀️🙏🏼 Yoga changed my life in the best way possible but it has also helped me become much more flexible and it’s the best stretch in the world. I love heated classes as it helps deepen all the postures and stretches. 3️⃣ Foam Rolling: While you watch Netflix at night break out your foam roller and spend some QT on it - I know, I know. Foam rolling can feel painful BUT it is amazing for recovery and a very affordable option if the Theragun is out of your budget.
