Here are the underrated Palloff Presses 👌 I never really heard of them until I saw @hollytbaxter & @soheefit doing then and boy do these guys get ya! 😫 ... maybe these will help me get abs like @hollytbaxter 😁 • • Make sure the cable is alinged with your torso and fight the resistance as you press the cable straight forward. Keyword is circuit. The quickest way to come up with an enjoyable yet challenging way of getting the best bang for your buck is circuit training. A tip on creating one depends on what your goal for the workout is. . Trying to find a circuit for leg day? Find 6 exercises. List them down in either reps or time based sets and complete them for an allotted duration. . Reps based example: your choice of exercises performed continuously to see how many times through you can go through them all in a specific time. Not only did they allow me into their family, but they never treated me as "the new guy." They have taught me so much more than I have learned in any other position at any other job and the leadership here is beyond anything that I have seen or experienced. Yes, I squat with no shoes 🤷‍♀️ but why? No , it's not to be cool. But simply because I have more stability without my sneakers on. For the most part I will try to wear my chucks or any shoes that are flat but when I don't, I will simply do them with socks on. Being shoe-less 🦶 allows me to have more surface contact to the ground giving me a more stable base than when I have shoes on. • • If you pay attention to the sneakers 👟, a lot of them have thick cushion-y heels. When squatting, you place weight towards your heals and having a cushioned heel makes it very difficult to stay stable. • • The next time you squat, try opting for shoes with flat base (i.e. : chucks, metcons, pedlays, etc.) or try it barefoot! #dontjudgeme #squatswithsocks
