Val catches stingray while Thori rolls in the grass - a series. . Literally every photo I've posted has been in my front yard! We haven't had time for exploring lately because it's been so busy! We are going on a road trip in 2 weeks though and I'm seriously so excited! . .. . . . . . . . #dogsonadventures #thegreatoutdogs #aussiesdoingthings #optoutside #dogsofinstagram #dogoftheday #dogphotography #nikonnofilter #amongthewild #australianshepherd #livelifeoffleash #bestwoof #70200mm #campingwithdogs #dogsthathike #liveyouradventure #adventurepup #actionshot #bluemerle #hikingwithdogs #earthfocus #aussiepuppy #theweekoninstagram #discoveroutdoors #moodygrams #thestatelyhound #puppy #nikonz6 #eddiebauercanineclub

They warned me I’d fall in love with Alaskan summers and they were absolutely right 💚

This weekend @gorefest11 and I both fulfilled our mutual life long dreams of eating baked beans out of the can around a fire while camping, inspired by Dennis The Menace. Accomplishing this goal was a testament to our 15 years of friendship and our misplaced senses of achievement. 🏆🏕✨ #lifegoals #backpackingfood #90schild #hikertrash

Best seat in the lap of nature!!! Sometimes just wish if I could auto-transport myself back to these wonderful landscapes of the Canadian Rockies and immerse forever in their beauty... #lovefortravel #loveforphotography #imagesofcanada #yohonationalpark #emeraldlake #beautifulbritishcolumbia #canadianrockies #canada #summertravels #traveldiaries2019 #solotravelerstory #canon80d #stayandwander #amongthewild #canadianadventure

I had an absolute blast hiking to this super gorgeous viewpoint today in the Canadian Rockies. So crazy, once I got here the weather is just so nice but I passed people that were coming down and apparently it was snowing earlier LOL. Thanks so much to @carrieoutdoors for helping me to find this spot among others. Her and @walasavagephoto go on wonderful adventures so I suggest you follow them. And it was awesome to meet @tyler.arnestad and @summerlover_rylee on this adventure. What region should I explore after Canada?

Can’t stop thinking about how that rock in the middle looks like a giant tooth... that could use a good cleaning haha 🦷 Do you see it or is it just me?

Last year Colorado was devastated by hundreds of wildfires and the haze from the wildfire smoke was seen many, many miles away. When Caitlin and I got to the Maroon Bells for sunset, we were initially disappointed because the haze, from the nearby Lake Christine Fire, didn’t give us a clear look at the Bells, but we took pictures anyway. And I am glad we did! I didn’t appreciate this shot of the Bells until we got back to the cabin that night and I was scrolling through the pictures. A different mindset and a fresh pair of eyes can make all the difference for a photo. Enjoy the Hazy Bells. . . . #ig_masterpiece #landscape_hunter #createandexplore #earthpix #hikinglife #hikingculture #outdoorslife #creative_ace #adventurers #adventurealways #wildandco #wondermore #photography📷 #creatives #aspencolorado #WWTTY #coloradolove #coloradolive #coloradophotography #coloradotography #westbysouthwest #outtherecolorado #viewcolorado #viewsfromcolorado #coloradoliving #amongthewild #visitcolorado #coloradountamed #colorado_creative #colorado_travel

PACIFIC CREST TRAIL | FINISHED!! And honestly, I’m not quite sure what to say. This is the first time I’ve done a thruhike when I didn’t want it to end. I feel sad about finishing, about leaving the trail. I will miss the crickets jump away as I move along the path, that sudden bustle, the noise, the fluttering to safety. I will miss the wind in my face, the smell of the heat. I will miss not knowing where I’ll end up at the end of the day, I will miss the constant movement - the one thing that remains the same. This wasn’t the hike I thought it would be. A record high snow year scattered hikers all over the place. I didn’t expect snowstorms at the end of May, snowblindness, the constant flipping around instead of doing a continuous thruhike. I didn’t expect to be alone so much. There was a time when everyone I met was quitting the trail, and I wasn’t quite sure if I was going to have to as well, but I didn’t. It took 165 days to walk everything between Mexico and Canada, 2,653 miles / 4,269 km, March 25 - September 16.
