Education is the most important contribution we can leave. And to say these chicks their education seriously is an understatement. . @gilliansanfilippo is heading into her last semester of her Master’s in Exercise Science. She will continue her lab assistant duties on the diet break research coming out of @billcampbellphd lab and also service as a diet coach for subjects. 👩🏼‍💻 . @karinanoboa is starting her Masters in Medical Science this semester! After many months of working in @dominic.dagostino.kt lab, she is now onto coursework to further her education in the field. 👩🏽‍🔬 . @laurenderrico is beginning her 10 month clinical dietetic internship to become a Registered Dietitian. After many years of advanced schooling, the light is at the end of the tunnel for her. 👩🏼‍⚕️ . I’m so proud of each of them for furthering their knowledge and also continuing to kick ass with all of their @teamlocofit clients. ✨ . We take education, experience and leadership seriously to give our clients the best experience possible. Studies of people eating one meal a day, usually dinner of night, 16 hours... And when you are deep into this after researching, and you can't do it, its just weak minded, weak in your ambitions, and not fulfilling your full potential. - A 16 hour fast within a mouse and deprive them of any nutrients, but for 8 hours let the mouse eat what the fuck they want, they can't gain weight. The reason we think is once you give a long enough time fasting, ramping up the enzymes in its liver the enzymes that are responsible for the fat oxidation, they become unbelievable at metabolising fat. - You have to be careful when you compare this, because we have a very different way of metabolising fat than a mouse, they are extremely efficient at it. A mouses metabolism is much longer to us. Studies and personal experience from individuals show the subject feels a lot more steady in there energy levels! For example, before I started my person fasting when experimenting with this exact scenario, I would usually get to 3PM in work. I would then clock watch 'till 5.30PM and have a major lull in them 150 minutes (That felt like 6 hours). Since trying my fasting techniques I wouldn't have that vacillating energy level. - After extensive research, after cutting out bread, pasta and other high carb sources from my diet, I prefer to get my carbs from fruits and things alike, after doing so, that "mid day nap desire" quickly dissipated. There was no need for the need to think "Wheres the energy drinks at? Whos making a coffee?" having a never ending cycle of insulin spikes and crashes - it would literally effect my relationships, my work ethic, my whole being! Change your food, an change your types of energy - simple. - Cancer and diabetes is now being treated with intermittent fasting. We are taught to eat more to accelerate our metabolism, we need to do that generate muscle, but studies show - after 5 months, muscle density, bone density, fat percentage and inflammation were improved. Going back to the hunter gatherer, they didn't eat everyday, they ate a few times a week. - #timerestrictedeating #diet #looseweight #metabolism #research #muscle #infinitenutrition
