Have you looked at the man or woman in the mirror? Are you happy ? Not just aesthetically but internally, emotionally? We all need to look at ourselves deeply and honestly to profoundly change. What are your strengths , your weaknesses, your fears, your motivation? Look at yourself and set goals, write them down, set a time limit. For me I always liked the athletic look and to be strong! I had no interest in the body builder type mass. It’s always a trade off of what’s important to you! Studies suggest Increased muscle mass is great and leads to less chance of many diseases but it’s a bell curve and once you reach a certain level and exceed that ( body builder type mass) it actually decreases longevity of life. So what s important to you ? You can pick it’s your life. My body fat percentage is around 12% to have a shredded 6pack I would need it to be at around 6%. To get 6% is very hard to maintain and would limit quality of life because that means no alcohol of any kind of pleasure food, a very very strict life. My goal is around 10% and maintain that which allows me some fun and my strength atm is better than most men who are way bigger than me. So it important when looking at yourself to set goals , make sure there realistic and your willing to live the lifestyle to sustain those goals. The more change you see though the more driven you become. Now get after it people ! 🇺🇸 When it's time to go for a business trip, these are my necessities. I don't know how much time will I have for eating, or what kind of food will I have access to. Protein count is my main concern while I'm on a trip since you can always manage your kcal intake, but you cannot always have a source of quality protein. So I take a bag of protein powder to mix a shake when I get to my hotel room and protein bars to eat during the day. The best so far I tried are Proseries Xtreme bar from @polleosport.hr with 49 g of protein per bar! And also I take my trusted rubber with me to add variety to my hotel room exercises :) . 🇭🇷 Kad je vrijeme da idem na poslovni put ovo uvijek nosim sa sobom. Ne znam koliko ću vremena imati za jelo, ni kojoj hrani ću imati pristup. Unos proteina je moja glavna briga kad sam na putu jer se na unos kalorija uvijek može paziti, ali ne možeš uvijek imati izvor kvalitetnih proteina. Zato uzmem vrećicu proteina u prahu da miksam shake-ove kad sam u sobi i proteinske pločice tijekom dana. Another successful workout this evening 🙌. I love going to the gym lol that's not something I would have said before lol but I really do. Sometimes i might not want to get up and go but once I do I'm soo glad I did. It's just this unexplainable feeling. You don't have to start at the gym, I didn't I started at home I lost my first 15lbs 🙌 and in taking the nutrition my body needed. But you do have to start , start somewhere and start to love and take care your body, soul and mind. ✖️Spiderman Crawl✖️ This is a goodie I alway incorporate in ALL warm ups. This movement pattern is a total body, strength, stability, mobility and coordination combo.🕷 . It requires a lot of core strength due to the low moving plank like position, it incorporates loads of hip mobility during the lower body movement patterns and loads of shoulder strength/stability during the forward crawl movement. . It’s also a goodie for neuromuscular adaptations 🧠due to the left hand - right leg, right arm - left leg movement patterns which is X like movement pattern. This X utilises your oblique sling, which is super import during force production, transmission, and reduction - the stronger your midsection, the stronger the potential the rest of your body has💪 . However, those lacking this core strength tend to "spill" their pelvis – it rotates side-to-side and often dips indicating a lack of reflexive core stability and the inability to disassociate the legs from the pelvis. Tightness/lacking mobility also adds to the poor movement pattern. . Since today was my rest day, I decided to make some capsules using veggie powders that have a strong taste and are super disrespectful if you tried to mix them into your shakes.
