Weekends eats ... you CAN go on vacation and stay with your protocol and healthy lifestyle!!!! This was a BIG deal for me, to eat high raw, no grains, no nuts, no seeds, no legumes and of course vegan. Basically fruits and raw veggies with some cooked veggies, cooked roots and soup. I wasn't sure what it would be like to haul my food around, prepare it, and I thought we'd need to bring like 4 ice chests full if everything 🤣 But this was easier and more fulfilling than I could have ever anticipated!! -------- I stayed on point 90% of the time 🙌🙌 One night we made a pizza using #simplemills grain free, vegan almond flour pizza dough and topped it with vegan pesto and veggies. My stomach is so used to easy to digest food, and that was too rich for me. So now I know that I need to back off and stay on this a bit longer. My other jaunt "off track" (ugh I hate calling it that!) was some raw cashew chipotle cheeze sauce on the nori wrap you see above (from an amazing vegan restaurant in Rocklin called Zest Kitchen). And that's it! Otherwise I played in the snow and filled up on mango, papaya, cucumbers, avocado, potatoes, and of course #celeryjuice 💖💖 --------- You can absolutely do this. I am not any different from you. I have doubts, fears, insecurities and skepticism too. But my hope for healing is greater than all of that. And now that I successfully traveled and stayed the course, I'm more determined than ever!

Pregnancy journey post #7 Fertility Protocol . . There is a high rate of people who have difficulty getting pregnant and the struggle is real, regardless if you are in a heterosexual or same sex relationship! When you want to start a family and nature just doesn’t seem to be on your side it can be hugely emotional. Also if family and friends know you may be trying, the pressure is even more. . After our own struggles I decided to look into how I could take some control of this and help to support my own fertility at home. . I got support from some amazing Mumma who knew loads about hormones and fertility struggles and have taught me lots @mamasandoils being one of them! I also invested in the @the_essential_midwife ‘s book and followed her cleanse recommendations as well as the daily protocol -> highly recommended!! . Some of this I was glad to know, I was already doing but to share with you what I did here it is: . . I did a 30 day gut cleanse {I definitely struggled with Candida, a huge barrier to getting pregnant, you should look it up and do the spit test} using GX Assist and Zendocrine to cleanse my liver and gut of all sugars. Then restocked with good probiotics, with PB Assist. I also ensured I was getting a well rounded diet low in sugar and topped up to get a perfect nutritional and health foundation with my Life Log Vitality. I also used Clary Calm, the women’s hormone balancer daily on my abdomen and ankle reflexology points. As well as using this during my cycle on the back on my neck. I took the Phytoestrogen complex daily as well as took 10 drops of Grapefruit essential oil in a capsule to help balance progesterone. To support my nerves and mood throughout this emotional time I put balance on my feet daily. . I used this protocol through IUI but when we began the IVF drugs I realised {as shared in previous post} that the Clary Calm blend interfered with the drugs and so I had to cut this out! However I continued with everything else. I have also continued with the LLV Phytoestrogen and essential oils throughout my pregnancy and have had great stability along the way! . . Want to know more just ask!

Last day of the 28 day cleanse, and I don't plan on stopping!! 👊👊 Sauteed onion, garlic, cabbage, riced cauli, zucchini & bell pepper (no oil) on a bed of romaine, topped with guac & "tomango" sauce from a delish recipe I found from @wayofkay_ 🙏😘 I don't miss grains or legumes at all. I feel so satisfied and have not gotten "hangry" once in the last month. I'm going to get blood work done because I'm so curious as to what has changed in my body. -------- If you are curious about the 28 day cleanse or the @medicalmedium, please reach out and I'd be happy to share with you where I get the info from. He has books, a radio show, blog posts, as well as FB & IG which he shares live broadcasts. A lot of the info is overwhelming so I can help chunk it down for you if you're ready to get started on a medical medium inspired protocol 🙌😉

10 years ago I would have never believed that I'd be satisfied with a huge amount of fruit for breakfast. I was a tried and true eggs, turkey bacon and pancakes lover. I would eat huge breakfasts full of animal products, fat and processed carbs. Along the way when I started on my holistic path, I eventually gave up eggs, gluten, meat completely, but still had such a hard time with breakfast. I didn't feel good starting my day with gluten free grains like oats or millet. And I didn't feel like fruit was satisfying enough either. :: In 2015 when I started to learn who @medicalmedium was I quickly dismissed him. I had listened to one or two of his radio shows and I just didn't believe what I was hearing. Even though at this time I was a spirit junkie and holistic health hippie, I wasn't picking up what he was putting down. :: Then sometime in 2016 I decided to revisit Medical Medium, as I had a friend who was convinced that celery juice was changing her life. I got his books out of curiosity and I found an answer to 10 years of seeking and searching. The Life Changing Foods book has a chapter called Fertility and our Future. It was completely unexpected yet spoke to my soul, and is the truth I have always been searching for. I started to implement a "light" version of a fertility protocol and 3 months later became pregnant with twins through an IUI. Even though we had assistance, I can't help but believe the changes I made were the icing on the cake with what made a difference. :: The last 9 months since our loss have been the most difficult days of my life. I was convinced I'd be pregnant again right away. I wasn't as on top of my protocol as I had been before. The holidays approached and my emotions were erratic, scattered and my heart ached for our sons we had only known for hours to be with us. This huge influx of emotions and pain caused major stress in my body, and a flare up of Epstein Barr virus. Without the flare up, I wouldn't have the answers I have today. I wouldn't be on the path I am now. I wouldn't have the specific guidelines and truth that has so gracefully come my way recently. I know my body can heal and I'm so grateful to support it to do so!

adriennejohnson726. Earlier this morning I stepped out of my comfort zone and into bravery

Earlier this morning I stepped out of my comfort zone and into bravery and courage. Here I am with my husband at my OB's office, waiting for the Dr to come into the room, where I will give him a copy of the first book by @medicalmedium, which is full of answers to health issues that mystify the medical community and gives the long awaited truth as to what is behind chronic and mystery illness. --- My stomach was in knots this morning and I was so nervous! My Dr is good, he is so so good. He's open to holistic alternatives, is completely supportive of my low fat, whole foods, plant based diet, and he acknowledges my concern around prescription medications. Even with him being open and receptive to alternatives, I wasn't sure how he'd receive this book, and I'm happy to say he was thrilled, and giving him a copy exceeded all my expectations. He said he's always willing to learn more, and the longer he's been a doctor and the more he learns, the less he feels that we truly know about the human body. How refreshing to have an honest conversation with such a compassionate doctor. --- We discussed my blood work which came back looking really good, just a few markers showing inflammation and a propensity to blood clotting. He's not super concerned as my diet and supplements are all supportive of helping bring my body into balance. We discussed a few other supplements for me to get on to help my body use insulin effectively, and what the next steps are once I'm pregnant again. He was very optimistic and said I'm doing everything I can, and sometimes when making changes just with diet and supplements it can take a while for the body to adjust. He doesn't even want me to repeat blood work because he said it's just something to look at but not an answer, as levels are constantly fluctuating. I feel so validated and taken care of by such a compassionate doctor who listens and works with me. He's looking forward to seeing us again soon, hopefully with happy news that our rainbow baby is on the way. I will always keep up hope, because little steps like this along the way show me that there is goodness in the world and there is always something to be grateful for 💖🙏🙌🌈

Best dish soap EVER. 🍋💦 A little goes a long way. You can add baking soda to stretch your dollars and make it bubbly. It’s so safe and gives mamas peace of mind as the label reads, “if swallowed, drink plenty of water to dilute.” Talk about peace of mind and as #nontoxic as it gets! If you haven’t downloaded the app Think Dirty or Healthy Living, do it now and see how your products rate. We used to use Mrs. Meyers dish soap b/c we thought it was natural and safe and it rated as a 9! 😕 #knowbetterdobetter

Now let's talk about the importance of balancing the hormones when time of getting pregnant. There are several types of hormones and they can significantly affect fertility 1️⃣ Thyroid Hormones : there are 2 triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine (T4). They are responsible for metabolism and digestion, but are linked to reproduction too. 2️⃣ Prolactin: it is essential for the production of breast milk and develops essential function to get pregnant doo 3️⃣Anti-Müllerian hormone: it is produced by ovárian follicles, or the sac that contains the immature ovum. Main function and support immature eggs. 4️⃣ Follicle-stimulating hormone: it is linked to fertility and its main function and regulates the menstrual cycle and induce the production of ovaries 5️⃣ Hormones Luteinizing: this hormone signals the body to release a mature egg. 6️⃣ Progesterone This hormone is essential for maintaining a pregnancy. Progesterone helps thicken the uterine lining, and thus help support the embryo. Women with low levels of progesterone often have recurrent miscarriages. Let's talk more about this hormone. 🧠 Studies published in the "Journal of Phytotherapy Research" found that inhalation of Clary sage had the power of reducing cortisol levels by 36% and improved thyroid levels. Salvia helps with balancing the hormones in general. It is great to be used before and after pregnancy and in the menopausal phase. It should be avoided during pregnancy, but wonderful after 40 weeks to induce labor. Next post we will talk about progesterone and testosterone . . . . #getstarted #doterra #mytribe #goodvibes #empowerment #boss #bossbabe #hormoneimbalance #infertility #fertilityprotocol #education #support #areyouready #wellness #yoga #organic #vegan #naturalsolutions #naturalremedies #essentialoils

In-Vitro Fertilisation (also known as IVF) is one of the most popular fertility treatments available today. During IVF, an egg is removed from the woman´s ovaries and fertilised with sperm in the laboratory. After fertilisation is achieved, the egg becomes an embryo and it´s then returned to the woman´s womb to continue its growth and development. IVF can be carried out using your own eggs and your partner´s sperm, or from egg and sperm donors. Wow what an experience!⁣ ⁣ I don’t know about you but I love educating myself on things to see if they are a right fit for ME! ⁣ ⁣ In Portland I attended a post convention tour for Doterra and was educated by so many things I had no idea! Not only do they have the purist oils (please educated yourself on this, and it doesn’t matter if an oil says organic or pure). But I discovered what Doterra is doing to give back to the world!! ⁣ ⁣ I’ll put a link in my bio for you to see what exactly they are doing with Helping Hands. Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (also known as ICSI) is performed as an additional part of an IVF treatment cycle. The ICSI procedure involves the injection of a single sperm into each egg to assist fertilisation. Typically, ICSI can be used to overcome severe male infertility. Do you have a favorite diffuser blend that’s on repeat? Mine has got to be the Anthropologie Volcano Candle. My favorite candle turned into a diffuser blend - perfection. ✨ If you don’t have Idaho Blue Spruce, you can replace it with Northern Lights Black Spruce. I don’t usually measure my diffuser blends, but if you like a recipe, try: 4 drops Orange 4 drops Grapefruit 2 drops Idaho Blue Spruce 1 drop Geranium Make it into a room spray, roller, and enjoy it all day long. If you haven’t tried this one yet, get it in your diffuser stat! 😍

Dr Juliet Skinner is the medical director at @barbadosivf internationally acclaimed fertility clinic. Dr Skinner explains: BFC´s high clinical and laboratory standards as well as the relaxing atmosphere of the beautiful island of Barbados contribute to very high success rates. Male factor is very prevalent in the Caribbean and this is reflected in that approx 80% of cycles require ICSI. For this reason we show combined IVF and ICSI success rates. However, at Barbados Fertility Center we tailor treatment according to the needs of the patients. Our flexible embryo culture system permits blastocyst culture. This is particularly beneficial for couples with 5 or more good quality embryos on day 3, when the extension of the culture to day 5 will significant improve embryo selection and ultimately success rates are 10-20% higher across depending on the age of the female. For women under 35 years old using their own eggs, a 77% clinical pregnancy rate was achieved with Blastocyst culture. #medicaltourism #ttcjourney #fertilityprotocol #ivfsupport #ivfsuccess #infertilityjourney #ivfpregnancy #ttc #ivf #icsi #ivficsi #ivfsuccess #ivfpregnancy #ivfsupport #ivfcommunity #ivfstrongertogether #ivfjourney2019 #ivftreatment #barbadosfertilitycentre #barbados #familybuilding #ivfabroad #fertilityabroad #IVFabroad #ivfoverseas #ivftourism #fertilityjourney #fertilidad #fecundacioninvitro #infertilidad

Rows and rows telling us that it's just fine. It's just soap. I guess that would be ok, EXCEPT, We're also washing our hair with chemicals. Then putting makeup and lotions on with chemicals. Then deodorant with aluminum right over our lymph nodes that make our adrenal responses. And before breakfast, we've had over 200 chemicals touch our body. We will move throughout the day with lots of these chemicals in our food, in the air with our candles, and on our feet as we walk on chemically fertilized grass. Of course our bodies will respond, they're made to. Sometimes it turns into an autoimmune response (sadly, I know about this one), or allergies, or it stores the chemicals in tumors in our liver and kidneys. Just 5% of cancers are genetic/hereditary. That is JAW DROPPING. The majority of cancers are caused by environmental influences. Things we can control. So no, it's not just harmless soap. We can do better for our bodies... for our family... and for our babies. Next time you have a choice, choose a chemical free option. Start with one thing. Then the next. If we make these changes and refuse these chemically laden products, then corporations and big name brands will have to change with us. And if they won't? You have other choices and you do NOT need them. Kick them to the curb. They can take their toxins and shove them where the sun don't shine. 👊🏻
