Pull-ups assisted 4 sets of 12 (last set you shouldn’t be able to get 12) (shown second slide) 2. Rope Pullovers 4x12 (last set you shouldn’t be able to get 10) 3. Seated Rows 4x8-10 (go as heavy as you can while maintaining perfect form. Think of pulling the weight back with your elbows) 4. Barbell Rows 4x8 (at this point you shouldn’t be able to go very heavy after all that volume. Replace the words, "I am worth it" for every excuse you keep coming up with and see how it makes you feel. Trust me, I had them all ... . 💰 I can't afford it. ⌛️ I don't have time. 👶🏻 I'm too busy. 🚫 I can't do what she did. The list goes on, you name it, I said it, too . . The hard truth is that I wasn't making myself a priority. I wasn't giving myself credit. I didn't believe in ME. All of that led down a dark road of negative self talk and left me lacking all motivation to make a change. Instead, I hid in baggy jeans and hoodie sweatshirts. I had zero confidence in myself that I could do it. I didn't think I was capable of putting myself first and working for what I wanted. . . Believe me when I tell you that scrapping every penny to purchase my starter pack C H A N G E D my L I F E. It changed everything. It gave me confidence. It helped give my kids a happy mom. It gave my husband a happy wife. It gave me self worth. It was exactly what I needed, even though I had used alll the excuses for S O long. . . There are 41 days until the new year. You can do SO much in 40 days. What is it that is holding you back from reaching your goals? . . Make the decision right N O W to put yourself first. YOU ARE WORTH IT! Food freedom 🤔 To me, this terms means having what I want, when I want it, without feelings of guilt. It’s acknowledging whether or not I actually want that food. It’s acknowledging if the chosen food will make me feel good or bad (on the inside). It’s making a decision based on what I want rather than the fads that surround it (sugar, fat, too salty, too many carbs, etc). It’s indulging when it’s worth it (parties, gatherings, etc.) and saying no when it’s not. It’s picking a food in the moment and not feeling like a “good” or “bad” person for it. Old me: planned every meal I was going to eat the night before. Saying no to EVERY situation. Packing my own food or not eating at all. Avoiding going out. Thinking about food at EVERY minute of the day; when I could eat next, how long I needed to wait to eat, how many calories were in that meal, and so on. IT WAS EXHAUSTING. But, i’m on my journey to food freedom. And I want you to do it with me. It is NOT normal to think about food at every minute of every day. It is NOT normal to have food rules and exercise rules in regards to those foods. It is NOT normal to skip out on a social events, missing out on memories. It is NOT normal for food to cause you to have anxiety and/or guilty. Society plasters what you should and shouldn’t have all around us. Yes, health is great and I will ALWAYS preach health for your internal being. But it’s also healthy to be spontaneous and enjoy yourself. Who’s with me? 🙋🏼‍♀️

Reposted from @patrick_stokley (@get_regrann) - The holidays are meant to be a joyous time of year, with lots of delicious food and drink. But, for many chronic dieters, this can be a real source of anxiety. Tell me if this sounds familiar: You anticipate the mountains of buttery potatoes, sugary pie, the fatty prime rib and endless glasses of wine, so you starve yourself all day. By the time you reach the party you are passed starving (hangry). You blow past your host and shove the first thing you can find in your mouth. The power-feasting continues until you are physically and emotionally ill, so you go home. Once you go home guilt sets in and ‪in the morning‬ you will start your cleanse. After a few days of restriction, you’re itching for your festive fix, and so the cycle continues from Thanksgiving until the New Year. This year, let’s get out of this vicious cycle of restrict-binge-regret-repeat and enjoy the holidays guilt free. Here are some helpful tips for the season. DON’T EAT LIKE AN ASSHOLE: Don’t eat massive amounts of everything in sight. No, don’t restrict yourself either, just eat the foods that really satisfy your taste buds. Don’t eat just because it’s there. SEEK OUT PLEASURE: Eat for pleasure, not for bulk. Make a lap around the tables of food to scope out your festive favorites. Add a small amount of each to your plate and enjoy. HANG OUT WITH FAMILY, NOT FOOD: Once you’re satisfied, find a friend in the room and stand far enough away from the food that you’d have to make a conscious effort for a second trip through. WATCH THE LIQUID CALORIES: It’s easy to overdo it on booze, which piles on the calories and interferes with your hunger cues. Pace yourself, drink a wine spritzer of half white wine and half calorie-free seltzer and have a glass of water between alcoholic drinks. MAKE EVERY BITE GREAT: Serve yourself small portions of your favorites. Remember, even the most decadent foods lose their flavor after three good-sized bites. EAT SLOWLY AND SAVOR: Give your stomach time to tell your brain you are full. Remember, the most importantly, do NOT JUDGE YOURSELF if you overdo it. Be kind to yourself and know that tomorrow is an
