I want to get specific for a second -- specific about who I am talking to right now. I want to talk to all you gym goers.. The kind of(?) consistent.. The "I think I know what I'm doing.." I mean you probably played sports in high school maybe even college.. You probably find programs and really do them.. You can or want to lift heavy bc you know your goal body requires building muscle + losing fat. Butttt some thing still isn't clicking. Maybe still havent figured it out yet.. Orrr it's really that you STILLL arent seeing the results you really want to be 😩🙈 Yo, that was me. 🙋‍♀️ & Yesss, I found a virtual gym that works & gets me results in 30 minutes, but really my kicker? Why I do what I do as a coach?? Bc we also do the work to figure out the emotion and the messy inner shit that's going on behind the binge eating or restriction eating or anxiety or self-hatred. Bc that's equally as important. If you need a health system that gets your results, I am your girl, but warning sister: hang around me long enough & we are going to dive into way more than workouts & calorie intake. If you struggle with health & fitness/wellness like I did before, what would you say is your #1 struggle??? 👇👇

Grace. • Here comes a lengthy, sappy post about how strength training—specifically with kettlebells—has helped to further treat my anxiety, depression, and PTSD. • Kettlebell training requires, strict, powerful movements. But unlike other training styles, I’ve learned that the greatest strength and most power comes in the quietest moments. The pause between each step of a get up, the top of a swing, or the split second during a snatch right before the kettlebell flips over your hand. • Life is like that, too. We find our greatest strengths when we allow ourselves to pause and then continue moving through our quiet, vulnerable moments. We move through cycles of power and grace—and eventually we figure out how to use them together. • You can get up, friends, even from your lowest lows. Keep getting up.
