The gym has been SO busy so I decided to set up in a corner and thrust til I couldn’t thrust no more. Definitely was an awkward place to thrust as it was where everyone walked by but you gotta do what you gotta do. The past few Tuesday’s I’ve been mixing things up and forgoing my usual LISS workout and swapping it up for an on the spot booty workout. Because who doesn’t want to work on their booty right? 😜🍑⁣ ⁣ Anyway, I pretty much just do whatever comes to mind 🧠 ⁣ ⁣ So here’s what my mind came up with today 😆⁣ ⁣ 12 x Squats⁣ 12 x Deadlifts⁣ 12 x Static lunge (each leg)⁣ 12 x Box knee ups (each leg) ⁣ 12 x Hip thrust w/ band abduction⁣ 12 x Box squat⁣ ⁣ Repeat 4 times 🔥 plus a little bit of handstand practice at the end 🤸‍♂️⁣ ⁣ I’m not sure if all the names of these exercises are correct but I’m sure you get the gist 😆😉⁣ ⁣ The sun is shining here today in Melbourne, spring is definitely in the air! TAG A FRIEND & make sure you save these for later! . who says you need equipment to absolutely destroy your glutes?? 😅 that under butt area is defined by building strong glutes and hamstrings PLUS (this is important) having a low enough body fat to see that definition. these exercises can be performed as a bodyweight circuit if you workout at home or you can throw them onto the end of your gym workout as a finisher. . 🔻NOTE: some of these exercises are a little weird, so please read the form notes below🔻 THE WORKOUT: 1️⃣ quadruped leg swing this video is NOT sped up 🙅‍♀️ that’s just how explosive this exercise is. because of this, it’s important you feel 100% confident with the form. focus on belly button pulled up towards the ceiling, core strong, and driving your thigh back in an arcing motion rather than straight up to the ceiling…this will help keep your back flat. . 2️⃣ double bench hip thrust shoulder blades across first bench, ball of foot across edge of second bench. to raise up, squeeze down through your elbows and press up through your heels. control the lower down as you feel the stretch build in your glutes. . 3️⃣ foot elevated glute bridge if you struggle with feeling hip thrusts in your quads, these are for you. ball of foot across edge of bench, arms by your side for balance, and other leg wherever is comfortable. visualize pushing the bench down and away. . 4️⃣ double bench ham curl same setup as 2, but lock your hips in place and JUST bend your knees. visualize pulling your butt to your heels as you pull forward. . I came back home and I started to watch myself to the mirror and I said: “You’re doing a great job girl!” I’m finally starting to notice some improvements in all my body. . All of this to explain you that the scale doesn’t tell you the truth, especially if you are a woman, the weight changed for many reasons. . I spent years to be focused only in the numbers that were appearing in the scale without thinking on how I felt or how I looked like. . Don’t go my same mistake, don’t loose your time watching a number. Pictures and measurements can show you the real progresses. @laurensimpson helped me to understand that. I wanted to share what I have been doing for it today because it’s what I always do if I have indigestion and it works like a CHARM. - 🌺 REMINDER: daily/consistent bloating and indigestion is NOT normal!!!! it’s something that will happen time to time, but if you are experiencing it routinely, there is something underlying that needs to be changed! [post in detail on this coming later this week!] - ANYHOW, here’s what I did: ✔ cbd + peppermint oil on my stomach. ✔ drinking ginger tea. ✔ some fasting & a lot of hydrating. no need to add food to my stomach when it’s already experiencing discomfort. ✔ light walking on the treadmill. ✔ only eating super simple, small, & gut healthy meals. including fresh herbs and spices like garlic & cilantro for natural detoxing. - already almost feeling totally back to normal & will wake up tomorrow feeling great! hope you guys had an amazing monday!! 👏🏼 enjoy this workout! 🤟🏼
