It’s time for my motivation Monday... I used to get home from work and was always tired. I was sad, I was grumpy, and I never had the motivation to do anything. During the time of me being overweight, I had not clue I was that way. It took this journey for me to see things from another point of view. There are days I’m exhausted. Physically and mentally, but, no one in the world wants this more than me, so I push myself harder and harder. I was terrified of documenting this progress because so many times in my past I had said “this time I will commit to losing weight” and a week later I gave up. I was terrified of telling you all how much I weighed. It was embarrassing. But something in me was different. Something changed internally. This time I was more than committed. I was driven. Working out became my absolute favorite thing to do. This is now a lifestyle for me. To those of you wanting to change your life, it’s easier than you think. You just need to commit and push yourself on the days you absolutely don’t want to do something. When I first started, I did it to clear my head. Then I did it because my body felt better. Then I kept doing it because It was a habit. By this time next year, I will be in shape, have a six pack, and be on my way to being super swoll. Join me on this journey. Let’s be fit together. W ostatnim czasie mięso jadam tylko sporadycznie. Nie, nie przechodzę na vege, chociaż bardzo lubię kuchnie w tym wydaniu. Po prostu słucham mojego organizmu, bo on wie najlepiej co mi w danym momencie służy. :) WHO zaleca, aby ograniczyć mięso do 0,5 kg tygodniowo. ❌ Niektórzy zjadają tyle w ciągu dwóch dni‼️Problem w tym, ze często jemy mięso przetworzone czy poddane zbyt wysokiej obróbce termicznej. I to właśnie takie mięso może mieć właściwości kancerogenne. Ponadto zapominamy, aby jadać je w towarzystwie warzyw, które wykazują działanie antyzapalne. Rzadko wrzucam przepisy na mięsne potrawy, gdyż zazwyczaj przyrządzam je w ten sam sposób. Kupuje większą ilość na 2-3 dni i wrzucam do wolnowaru, najczęściej dodaje tylko cebule, czosnek i przyprawy. Następnie łącze je z warzywami i kaszą. It’s that time of year again when the garden is full, the fridge is full, the counters are full, & it’s a race to get to all the food before it goes bad. 🙃 . The other day, I made this batch of pickles. My huge jar has celery, cucumber, radish, salad turnips, beets, garlic, & cilantro plus brine. I waiting the weekend for the veg to soak in the salt & tried a few scoops today on an avocado 🥑 . Let me tell ya, it’s SO good. I was a little nervous about the beets, because they were raw. But I sliced them thin, & they are amazing. Frankly, I think salt is a great combo with that earthy flavor (like wine & cheese) oh and garlic, too. So much garlic! . Your body doesn’t care what time it is. Therefore, your body couldn’t care less what time of the day you are eating..⁣⁣ eating 500 calories at 10:00 PM is exactly the same as eating 500 calories at 10:00 AM.⁣⁣ All That matters is Your daily/weekly intake⁣⁣ ⁣ 🤦🏼‍♀️You can Spot Reduce:⁣ Sorry to break it to you but you can’t singly target one place on your body to lose fat.⁣⁣ You can’t chose where you store your fat or where you lose it from first. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 🤦🏼‍♀️Carbs are bad:⁣⁣ Carbohydrates don’t make you gain weight. I pinky promise.⁣⁣ That takes YEARS of specific training and eating A LOT. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 🤦🏼‍♀️You need to do cardio for fat loss: ⁣⁣ the truth is that cardio is absolutely not necessary for weight loss⁣⁣ If you’re trying to lose weight, start with your diet, because fat loss happens when you’re expending more calories than you’re taking in⁣⁣ Then focus on your weight training & NEAT, then you can add in cardio as a tool, but I certainly wouldn’t use it as the number one method to drop body fat.⁣⁣ ⁣ 🤦🏼‍♀️Consuming small frequent meals speed up your metabolism: ⁣⁣ Metabolic rate & thermic effect of food will be the same whether you eat 3 or 6 meals #fitnessmyths #knowledge #lifestyle
