Fun Friday! ☀️ I started with a warmup run to the gym (mostly downhill), then did a 30min full body lift 💪🏼 ... I Felt good today, so I decided to do some speed work on the run back home: I did an E2MOM (every 2min on the minute) for 20minutes. So, it was 10x 20-40s sprints (with 1:20-1:40 recovery jog) 👉🏼Why the time difference in how long I sprinted?? Glad you asked 😉 I am trying to “love/enjoy” the hills around me. So I let myself do 20s sprints if I was going up a hill, but did 40s if it was downhill. The way home from my gym is a net gain of vertical distance so I think all but 2 of my 10sprints were uphill, but I was definitely hitting my limit by the end of the 20s. Then I just finished out the 4mile run home with some easy running! —— I’m looking forward to a couple runs this weekend with friends. Some upper body work from last week! 💪🏼⁣ ⁣ So prob a bit of TMI.... but girl incorporating 2 chest inclusive workouts a week has lifted my girls a mile high 😂 it’s a bit uncomfortable to train, but is so necessary for a nice and tight upper body. I like to work as many muscle groups as I can since many of them work together! ⁣ ⁣ For instance, you need strong lats, shoulders, and triceps to achieve the bench press efficiently. So when they’re stronger, your bench is stronger too. 💪🏼 ⁣ ⁣ Happy Friday!
