Já a fome psicológica está diretamente relacionada com nosso estado mental e pode ser subdividida em três tipos: - Vontade: ela pode aparecer mesmo se não estivermos com fome, mesmo se estivermos completamente saciados, pode ser despertada por algum estímulo como propagandas, fotos e é algo bem específico. - Fome social: sentimos esse tipo de fome quando somos influenciados pelo momento, ambiente ou companhias, como por exemplo em festas, confraternizações. É aquele sentimento de querer compartilhar o alimento, “beliscar” enquanto joga conversa fora. É algo instintivo, que independe da fome física e da saciedade e normalmente leva ao exagero e àquele pensamento: “se eu não estava com fome porque comi tanto?”. - Fome emocional: ela aparece quando sentimos que precisamos nos recompensar com comida por algo que abalou nosso estado emocional. É o comum pensamento de que “eu mereço” por ter tido um dia ruim, por ter brigado com alguém, por estar exausto, para preencher um vazio, aliviar uma tristeza ou culpa, e com a esperança de que a comida alivie também uma angústia. Esse tipo de fome é o maior motivo de pessoas terem uma relação errada com a comida, pois não tem nada a ver com fome ou vontade. HOW TO MAKE A POKE BOWL AT HOME ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I love Poke Bowls! We usually get them at our local Asian restaurant that tops it with fresh salmon and so many other delicious ingredients. Last night, I decided to attempt making one at home. I had a variety of ingredients I could use including some smoked salmon and crab sticks. It was actually fairly easy. Here's the simple process to making your own Poke Bowl at home... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Start with a base of (cooled) cooked rice. You can use whatever rice you want. I used sushi rice since I wanted that traditional sticky rice for my base. A healthier option would be brown rice. First I rinsed the sushi rice well. Then I added 1 1/2 cups of water to 1 cup of sushi rice to my pot. I brought the water to a boil, then reduced to simmer and covered. Total cooking time was about 15 minutes. Let rice cool down before assembling your Poke Bowl. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The fun part of a Poke Bowl is you can top your rice with whatever you want! Choose a combination of lean protein (fish), fresh chopped vegetables, a legume like shelled edamame or lima beans), a healthy fat (avocado is my go to), fresh cut fruit for added sweetness (mango or pineapple). If you like some spice then slice up some hot peppers like jalapenos! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Ingredient toppings I used: - 2 oz smoked salmon - 1/3 cup imitation crab meat (sticks), diced - 1/4 cup cucumbers, diced - 1/4 cup lima beans (cooked and chilled) - 1/4 cup avocado, diced (1/2 of one small avocado) - 1/4 cup mango, diced - 1/8 to 1/4 cup of pickled red onions (Easy to make... slice up red onion and let soak in apple cider or red vinegar for at least 1 hour. Tastes great in salads too!) - Jalapeno, sliced as a garnish (optional) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ After assembled, drizzle with spicy Sriracha Mayo Sauce or another favorite Asian sauce. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ For the Sriracha Mayo sauce, I combined 2 tsp of Sriracha with some olive oil based mayo until I had my preferred level of spiciness. If you don't like it too spicy then up the mayo versus Sriracha. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ :) ENJOY!

It’s about being consistent, so find foods that you like and work them into you’re Calorie deficit. Removing all the foods you enjoy just isn’t sustainable🥕. . Resistance training is your long term investment for fat loss! Every Lb of muscle burns 7-8kcals per hour versus every pound of fat which burns 3-4kcals an hour! . Lift weights. Build lean muscle. Keep fat off🔥! . Sleep well and make sure your recovering and your stress levels aren't through the roof.
